Printed films are often disposed of as production waste and incinerated, as the printing ink is difficult to remove. However, this is high-purity waste that contains valuable materials.
The successful recycling of printed films requires the bond between the plastic film and the printing inks to be broken without using high temperatures or aggressive chemicals. The HydroCleaner follows the principle of hydrodynamic friction. This shortens the reaction time of chemicals, reduces consumption of these chemicals and lowers the process temperatures required.
Separate water circuits, ultrafiltration and the HydroDyn firewall guarantee the outstanding purity of the recyclate. This minimises recontamination from process water and also reduces water loss.
The HydroCleaner significantly reduces energy and chemical demands compared to conventional recycling processes, especially for the recycling of film laminates.
Special HydroCleaner tools for fibrous materials ensure optimum cleaning results.
